[She laughs, sound bubbling from her throat, and pulls back to give him a rueful look.] Finally, you're seeing things from my perspective!!

[It only took a few years, and all, but good job!]

Tch, it just wouldn't suit you.

[Now she's gotten him puffed up and self concious. He hasn't had his girlfriend bug him in too long, it's nice to be back with her. He'd forgotten just how great her laugh is.

He tugs a piece of her hair down to straighten it. And he's trying hard not to smile and looking a little like he's got something under his skin trying to get out.]

[She thinks he should smile. It would be a very nice welcome back present for her, so yes, smile.]

You know, some smokers find the sight of their girlfriends smoking hot. [A pause.] I - I mean - when their girlfriends smoke! They find that hot.

[She'd look great slightly singed from battle, she shouldn't put images like that into his head. Not that he'd let her anywhere close without drilling her to hell and back about how to protect herself.

He frowns and considers reaching into his pocket to light up. They're talking too much about smoking, it's making his fingers itch towards them.] Their girlfriend's can't be that hot. [Her smoking wouldn't make a lick of difference to how hot she is. Most of the time she sits firmly in 'adorable' anyway.]

[harutastic]

[But here's the beautiful thing about it. She's a quick learner. She should show him one day how much she's been proggressing with her gun training she gets from Reborn.

But she pulls back with a small little pout, watching him fish for a cigarette already.] Maybe their girlfriends wants to be considered that hot. Maybe they wouldn't mind being swept off their feet and pressed against the wall and ravished when they are reunited.

[She's not talking about most guys, really.]

[She has such a way with words and it makes him reconsider and smooth down his pocket. He reaches for her and dips his head to press his forehead against hers.]

Is that something you've thought about?

O-of course not. [That guilty blush on her face says differently.] Not Haru. [So does the guilty slip back into talking about herself in third person.]
